I’m Jeff McCann, and I’m running for Greece Town Supervisor. As a lifelong resident of Greece and a dedicated public servant, I’m excited for the opportunity to serve our community.My wife, Kristin, and I live on Larkwood Drive, with our two sons, Jimmy and David and our Black Lab Juneau.

My connection to Greece runs deep. My family moved to the Dewey-Stone neighborhood when I was eight years old, drawn to the promise of great schools, safe streets, and a community that cared. I attended Barnard Elementary, Britton Road Junior High, and Greece Olympia High School. My first job was delivering the Times Union newspaper with a route that went through Haviland Park, Cosmos Drive, and Willis Avenue, followed by jobs at Foley’s and Corner Service grocery stores. These experiences helped me build a strong work ethic and shaped the public servant I am today.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving in various public service roles. I’ve worked for the State Assembly and State Senate, served as a Monroe County Legislator, and Deputy Greece Town Supervisor. 

In 2016, I served as Deputy County Clerk under then Clerk, Adam Bello. Together we began to undo years of mismanagement and better serve the public. Three years later, I was proud to lead the Adam Bello for County Executive campaign, as we ushered in our first Democratic County Executive in more than 30 years, and for the last 5 years, I have served under County Executive Adam J. Bello as his Deputy County Executive.
